Paramedic Basic

About the Role

We are hiring passionate Paramedics dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality service and providing both basic and advanced patient care to our customers. This role is vital to ensuring that every call is met with professionalism and expertise.

Day in the Life

As a Paramedic, you will assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while adhering to progressive protocols. You will utilize your skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Communication is key; you will interact with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being administered.

You may act as a Paramedic team leader, taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed. A significant part of the role involves driving the ambulance on 911 responses and working collaboratively in a professional manner with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics. Additionally, you will participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
