We are hiring passionate Paramedics dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality service and providing both basic and advanced patient care to our customers. This role is vital to ensuring that every call is met with professionalism and expertise.
As a Paramedic with us, you will assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while adhering to progressive protocols. You will utilize your skills on essential medical equipment—including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids—to provide advanced medical care. Beyond clinical duties, you will communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being administered.
You may also serve as a Paramedic team leader, taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed. A key part of the job involves driving the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborating professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics. Additionally, you will participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations.
AMR is part of Global Medical Response's (GMR) family of companies, offering a supportive environment for healthcare professionals.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid shift differentials, enhanced holiday pay, paid training, paid wellness days, and generous PTO accruals. For more details on our benefit options, please visit our careers site benefits page.
