The Community Manager 3 serves as the strategic leader for complex, multi-layered subsidy communities, including those aligned with the Property Rehabilitation Project. This role is critical for maximizing property performance across key performance indicators such as Net Operating Income (NOI), occupancy, revenue, and member satisfaction. You will oversee full-cycle property management duties, ranging from marketing and leasing to regulatory compliance and financial stewardship, ensuring the community thrives while supporting the broader portfolio's success.
In this position, you will manage larger, intricate communities featuring HOME, Tax Credit, and Project Based Section 8 units. Beyond operational oversight, you will drive portfolio initiatives such as training programs, cost-saving pilots, and compliance projects. Your leadership extends to fostering a culture of belonging and housing stability by partnering with Maiker's Family and Community Vitality (FCV) Team to create meaningful connections among community members.
You will lead a dedicated team, managing, directing, and coordinating the efforts of staff through hiring, training, and performance coaching. Adhering to Maiker standards, policies, and procedures is paramount, as is strict compliance with local, state, and federal laws. The role demands a collaborative environment where you hold the team accountable for performance while providing the resources and support necessary for their success. We value individuals who are flexible, open to new ideas, and capable of handling pressure while adjusting to changing needs.
