This professional-level sales position is designed to drive profitable growth for the commercial side of the business. The role focuses on customer retention and expansion while serving as a key partner to the General Manager in managing team members. Success in this position requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, alongside the ability to source components from diverse channels, including special orders, FDOs, and second sources. The Commercial Parts Pro also directs drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery, balancing sales objectives with operational excellence.
You will maintain strong relationships with commercial customers while providing a specialized GAS2 selling experience. Your day involves achieving personal and store sales goals, managing commercial stocking programs, and maintaining core bank and credit accounts. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to collaborating with the General Manager on coaching and developmental needs for the team, as well as dispatching drivers to meet delivery standards. You will utilize your diagnostic knowledge of automotive systems—ranging from internal engines to electronics—to provide advanced solutions and product quality recommendations to clients.
Candidates must successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment as part of the qualification process. The role requires a working knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to interpret technical documents, safety rules, and parts catalogs.

This position is primarily performed inside the store, though it occasionally requires working outside to install batteries and wiper blades, exposing employees to various weather conditions. The environment may include moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock or vibration. The noise level is usually moderate. Employees must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
This position is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
