About the Role
We are seeking a CMM Programmer to join our Quality team in the Greater Los Angeles Area. This position is critical to our Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing operations, ensuring that all products meet rigorous customer and regulatory requirements. Working with minimal supervision, you will play a key role in supporting production, engineering, and inspection processes.
Day in the Life
Your work will involve programming and operating CMM equipment to perform precise inspections on complex parts and assemblies. You will interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to create and maintain detailed work instructions. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to conducting First Article Inspections (AS9102), documenting quality records, and identifying defects to drive corrective actions. You will also collaborate closely with production and engineering teams and provide training and support to junior inspectors.

Requirements

- verifiedAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings
- verifiedProficiency with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- verifiedExperience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)
- verifiedExperience with receiving and source inspection
- verifiedProven ability to complete AS9102 FAI packages independently
Nice to Have
Experience with Dassault Systems ENOVIA PLM, CATIA CAD software, aerospace manufacturing experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and aerospace experience.
