About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated CMM Programmer to support our Quality team within the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all products meet rigorous customer and regulatory requirements. Working with minimal supervision, you will play a key role in bridging production, engineering, and inspection processes to maintain the highest standards of quality.
Day in the Life
Your work will center on programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment to perform precise inspections. You will create and maintain detailed work instructions, interpret complex engineering blueprints and drawings, and conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in compliance with AS9102 standards. Beyond technical execution, you will document inspection results, identify defects, and drive corrective actions while collaborating closely with production and engineering teams. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to train and support junior inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
- verifiedStrong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
- verifiedAdvanced GD&T knowledge
- verifiedExperience with PC-DMIS programming
- verifiedExperience with VERISURF and ROMER arm
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings
- verifiedProficiency with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- verifiedExperience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)
- verifiedExperience with receiving and source inspection
- verifiedProven ability to complete AS9102 FAI packages independently
Nice to Have
Experience with Dassault Systems ENOVIA PLM, CATIA CAD software, aerospace manufacturing experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and aerospace experience.
