About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated CMM Programmer to join our Quality team in the Greater Los Angeles Area. This position is vital to our Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing operations, ensuring that every component meets rigorous customer and regulatory standards. You will work with minimal supervision, serving as a key bridge between production, engineering, and inspection processes.
In this role, you will program and operate CMM equipment to perform precise inspections on complex parts and assemblies. Your day-to-day involves interpreting engineering drawings, conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) in compliance with AS9102, and documenting quality records. You will also play a mentorship role, training and supporting junior inspectors while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify defects and drive corrective actions.

Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing

- verifiedExperience with PC-DMIS programming
- verifiedExperience with VERISURF and ROMER arm
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings
- verifiedProficiency with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- verifiedExperience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)
- verifiedExperience with receiving and source inspection
- verifiedProven ability to complete AS9102 FAI packages independently
Nice to Have
Experience with Dassault Systems ENOVIA PLM, CATIA CAD software, aerospace manufacturing experience, high school diploma or equivalent.
