The CMM Programmer plays a critical role in ensuring the dimensional integrity of aerospace engine components. Based in Midland, GA, this onsite position focuses on the precise development and validation of inspection programs using Calypso software and Zeiss CMM systems. The role serves as a bridge between engineering specifications and manufacturing reality, ensuring that complex parts made from materials like Titanium, Inconel, and Waspaloy meet rigorous aerospace standards.
In this position, you will interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards. Your work involves generating detailed measurement documentation, conducting tolerance analysis, and supporting root cause analysis initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the quality and manufacturing teams.
