About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer with over 12 years of experience to lead our cloud security posture management initiatives. This role is critical for safeguarding our infrastructure across GCP and other cloud service provider environments. You will be the driving force behind our strategy for Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and AI Security Posture Management (AISPM).
In this position, you will own the end-to-end management of cloud security posture, focusing on the detection and remediation of misconfigurations while ensuring robust compliance reporting. Your day-to-day will involve designing secure cloud architectures that align with enterprise and regulatory frameworks, as well as driving the vulnerability management lifecycle for Kubernetes clusters, containers, registries, and images. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security directly into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a proactive approach to risk prioritization and governance.
Location and Requirements
This position is based in Plano, TX, with remote work options available. Please note that candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with tools such as Wiz or Prisma Cloud. We require a deep understanding of container security, GCP security services, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Candidates are expected to possess strong expertise in policy creation, alert triaging, and the ability to generate executive-level reports on risk posture and compliance.
