The Staff Data Security Engineer is a pivotal role designed to drive the design and implementation of enterprise data protection capabilities. You will play a key part in protecting sensitive data across its full lifecycle, ensuring that discovery, classification, and security measures are scalable, actionable, and aligned with both business goals and regulatory requirements.
In this position, you will work cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to secure data across all endpoints, cloud workloads, and collaboration platforms. Your day-to-day involves tuning complex DLP policies, managing data security posture tooling, and collaborating with diverse colleagues around the world to reduce enterprise risk and unauthorized data access.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience; Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) or professional industry certification.
Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) or professional industry certification. Microsoft certifications: SC-400 (Information Protection Administrator), SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst), SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect), or AZ-500. Experience with additional DLP or CASB platforms (e.g., Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Zscaler). Familiarity with cloud security posture management (CSPM) in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
