About the Role
The Cloud Security Architect is responsible for designing and governing secure cloud architectures that protect organizational data, applications, and platforms. This role embeds security into cloud strategy and solution delivery, ensuring cloud environments are resilient, compliant, and aligned with business and risk objectives.
You will partner across engineering, security, and compliance teams to define standards, assess risks, and guide the secure adoption of cloud and cloud-native capabilities. Your work will involve defining architecture standards for public, private, and hybrid environments, evaluating solution designs against security principles, and advising teams on secure configuration throughout the system lifecycle.
In this position, you will also collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into cloud-native designs and deployment workflows. You will establish monitoring and alerting requirements to support threat detection and incident response, while providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing to engineers and security team members.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in Columbia, SC.
