As a Clinical Systems Engineer IV, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in executing healthcare technology planning for both inpatient and outpatient delivery settings. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex clinical needs and technological solutions, ensuring that systems are not only deployed effectively but also integrated seamlessly into the broader care delivery ecosystem.
You will act as a consultant to user groups and strategic partners, guiding equipment configurations, reviewing facility construction plans, and defining technical requirements for moderately complex projects. Your day-to-day involves conducting assessments and needs analyses to identify relevant technologies, performing cost-benefit analyses, and driving cybersecurity trends in alignment with industry standards. Beyond technical execution, you will champion change, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and provide actionable feedback to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
You will join a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of clinical systems across Kaiser's healthcare network. Your work directly impacts patient care by ensuring that the technology supporting medical operations is compliant, secure, and innovative. You will collaborate with stakeholders to investigate incidents, analyze equipment performance, and develop solutions that address root causes of issues, ensuring that the enterprise remains resilient against risks.
Qualified candidates will be considered for employment in a manner consistent with Federal, state, and local laws. External hires must pass a background check and drug screen. The selection process evaluates both technical expertise and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
Kaiser is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or disability status. We encourage individuals with arrest and/or conviction records to apply, considering them in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
