About the Organization
Signet Health is partnering with the Midland County Hospital District and Ector County Hospital District to launch the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center (PBBHC). Located between Midland and Odessa, Texas, this new facility represents a significant step forward in the future of behavioral health for the Permian Basin region of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.
PBBHC is scheduled to open in Spring 2026. The center's mission is to provide high-quality, accessible behavioral health services to residents of all ages, helping them overcome their challenges through comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead the facilities operations for this new hospital. As a key member of the hospital operations team, you will oversee the daily maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of the physical plant, utilities, and environmental systems. Your work will ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
In this role, you will build and lead the engineering and maintenance team, establishing preventive maintenance programs and ensuring readiness for regulatory surveys. You will serve as the primary point of contact for life safety compliance, emergency preparedness, and vendor coordination, ensuring the facility meets rigorous federal, state, and accreditation standards (including CMS, OSHA, NFPA, and DNV). A critical aspect of this position involves supporting behavioral health safety standards, specifically regarding ligature risk mitigation and environmental safety.
