As a Charge Nurse at Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA), you will be the cornerstone of our commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective clinical operations. You will manage daily decisions to maintain continuity of care, overseeing the delivery of safe and effective outcomes in a dynamic dialysis environment.
In this position, you will serve as a subject matter expert and a primary resource for your team. Your day involves guiding direct patient care staff, assessing daily patient needs, and coordinating care assignments to ensure every patient receives personalized attention. You will act as the primary responder in emergency situations, monitor patient conditions closely for dialysis-related complications, and collaborate with physicians to implement necessary treatment changes. Beyond clinical duties, you will foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all operations adhere to federal and state regulations, OSHA programs, and facility policies.
Candidates must be registered and licensed to practice nursing in the applicable state and hold a degree from an accredited school of nursing.
