About the Role

The Lead Support Driver is a critical safety-sensitive role designed to ensure operational continuity across our network. You will be expected to travel to various locations to cover for regular route collection drivers during vacation, sick leave, or other business needs. While the company strives to keep Lead Support drivers within their own region, you may occasionally travel outside the region to fill open routes. This flexibility may require staying out for extended periods, up to two weeks, with all company-related travel expenses covered upon management approval.

This position requires a clear mind and diligence, as you are responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of others. You will operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, tankers, and end dumps, navigating diverse environments from industrial equipment and loading sites to landfills and processing facilities. The role demands a strong commitment to safety, adherence to strict regulations, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accurate documentation and communication with loading crews and site personnel.
