Denali is the leading organic recycling company on a mission to unlock the power of unused food and organics, transforming them into resources to feed, fuel, and replenish the earth. Our work is essential to keeping water clean, reducing the need for new landfill capacity, building soil fertility, helping farmers be more resilient, and reducing society's reliance on fossil fuels. We provide meaningful and measurable change for any business that handles food, creating value with scalable solutions across the nation. Our services and products touch thousands of acres and businesses, millions of tons of organic material, and nearly every person who purchases and consumes food in the U.S.
At Denali, the work we do begins and ends with you. We strive to ELEVATE our employees to be their best, both at work and at home. Our culture is built on the belief that when you succeed, we all succeed. We are committed to creating a culture of care where you feel valued, supported, and equipped for success.
The Lead Support Driver is a critical safety-sensitive role designed to ensure continuity of operations across our network. You will be expected to travel to various locations to cover for regular route collection drivers during vacation, sick leave, or other business needs. While the company strives to keep Lead Support drivers within their own region, this role occasionally requires travel outside the region to fill open routes. This may involve staying out for extended periods, up to two weeks or more.
This position requires a clear mind and diligence, as you are responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of others. You will operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, tankers, and end dumps, navigating diverse environments from industrial equipment and loading sites to landfills and processing facilities. You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions, often exposed to wet, humid conditions, fumes, and strong odors. Success in this role means maintaining a clean, safe, and properly functioning equipment fleet while ensuring timely deliveries and pickups in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
We believe our employees deserve the very best. Our benefits and perks are part of a broader commitment to helping you thrive in all aspects of life. From competitive compensation and a 401(k) match to comprehensive health coverage and paid time off, we support your well-being. We also offer the PEAKS Safety Program, featuring quarterly and annual regional raffles with significant prizes, and the Ascend Employee Development Program, providing free access to thousands of professional courses to help you climb higher in your career.
It is the policy of Denali to provide equal employment opportunities for all employees. We will not engage in any form of employment discrimination based on race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other legally protected status. We affirm our desire to maintain a work environment for all employees that is free from all forms of unlawful employment discrimination.
