About the Role
As a Public Interest Law Expert (Civil / Environmental), you will play a pivotal role in frontier AI research and benchmarking. Your work directly informs how leading labs train and evaluate the next generation of AI systems. You will collaborate with other public-interest attorneys to design realistic digital workspaces and multi-step tasks that challenge frontier AI agents. This role requires shaping the environment, defining task scope, and reviewing scenarios for realism and rigor. You will work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and evaluation criteria, ensuring the benchmarks accurately reflect the complexities of public-interest law.
