Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRepresent clients in personal injury matters including accidents and wrongful death
- check_circleManage litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial preparation
- check_circleConduct case assessments, client interviews, and thorough investigations
- check_circleDevelop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and support staff
- check_circleDraft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
- check_circleParticipate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as necessary
- check_circleNegotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel for favorable outcomes
- check_circleMaintain accurate case files and ensure all deadlines and procedural requirements are met
- check_circleStay informed on relevant personal injury laws and regulatory developments
- check_circleMaintain clear communication with clients regarding case status and legal process
Requirements
- verifiedActive license to practice law in California
- verified2+ years personal injury or litigation experience preferred
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- verifiedProficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
- verifiedExperience with case management software preferred
Nice to Have
2+ years of personal injury experience or litigation experience. Experience with case management software.
