The Law Clerk-Journeyman (Litigation Support) serves as a critical partner to attorneys within a United States Agency, providing comprehensive legal research and litigation support. This role is designed to assist the team through all phases of the litigation process, leveraging sensitive public company data, mutual fund data, and trade/quote information to drive case strategy and preparation.
In this on-site capacity based in Washington DC, you will engage in complex legal research and analysis to support trial staff. Your work involves reviewing documents for relevance and privilege, compiling case materials, and organizing information for various legal forms and pleadings. You will assist in drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, and other correspondence, while also conducting evidence reviews and taking witness statements. The role demands high accuracy and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with occasional travel required to support investigations and trial preparations.
