The CIB, Securitization Senior Legal Counsel – Vice President performs substantive and procedural legal tasks within the delivery of corporate and legal services to the organization. This role involves organizing and supervising processes and special projects as they arise, providing legal coverage to Santander's Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Securitized Products Group. The position supports banking, lending, and capital markets transactions involving a broad range of asset classes and products, including RMBS, CMBS, ABS, and CLOs.
You will advise Santander's CIB on its growing Securitized Products business, acting in roles such as underwriter, structurer, arranger, book runner, and placement agent for securities in public and private offerings. The role requires monitoring developments and advising on applicable U.S. securities laws, banking law matters, and other federal and state laws relating to lending and securities offerings.
