Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, providing tangible help and eternal hope. We are a Christian ministry dedicated to serving children and students in our community through after-school care and enrichment activities. Our team is composed of teachers, youth workers, mentors, and college students who share a passion for influencing and impacting the next generation.
As a Child Care Worker on our After School team, you will serve as a Minister of the Gospel, fostering youth development by leading elementary students in enriching activities. This is a non-exempt, part-time position averaging 17–20 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
You will have the unique opportunity to make an eternal impact and be a role model to children in your community. We are seeking individuals devoted to excellence and wholeheartedness, who desire to help kids reach their full potential. While we value experience and post-secondary training, the core of this role is a genuine love for working with elementary-aged children and a commitment to our mission.
To serve effectively, candidates must be at least 17 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States. The role requires a valid driver's license or ID, dependable transportation, and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. All team members must pass mandatory background and sex offender checks. Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued.
We are a ministry-first organization. Team members are expected to agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith. We believe every staff position is an integral part of our vision to bring hope to families.
