Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, providing tangible help and eternal hope. We are a Christian ministry dedicated to serving children and students in our community through after-school care and enrichment activities. Our team is composed of teachers, youth workers, mentors, and college students who share a passion for influencing and impacting the next generation.
The Afternoon Child Care Worker is a non-exempt, part-time position averaging 17-20 hours per week, serving as a vital link in our mission to foster youth development. You will be a Minister of the Gospel, leading elementary students in enrichment activities while modeling excellence and wholeheartedness. This role offers the unique opportunity to have an eternal impact on the children in your community, helping them reach their full potential.
As a member of the After School team, you will work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year. We are seeking individuals who are devoted to their craft and eager to serve as role models. While we value experience and post-secondary training, the core of this position is a genuine love for working with elementary-aged children and a commitment to our Statement of Faith.
To join our team, candidates must be at least 17 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States. The selection process includes a mandatory background and sex offender check. Successful candidates must obtain CPR/First Aid certification and possess dependable transportation, a valid driver's license, or a valid ID. Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued.
We consider every staff position an integral part of our mission. We look for ministry-minded individuals who agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith. If you desire to influence, impact, and serve kids and families, we invite you to apply.
