The Child Care Site Leader serves as the operational heart of our before and after-school care programs, responsible for planning, organizing, and leading daily activities for school-age children. This role goes beyond supervision; it is about fostering an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can succeed. The Site Leader ensures program safety, implements inclusion strategies, and provides essential leadership to the Child Care Assistant staff, volunteers, and interns.
In this position, you will mentor your team, guiding them through training, performance feedback, and goal setting. You will be the primary point of contact for families, delivering exceptional customer service while welcoming children and fostering a culture of respect for diverse backgrounds and abilities. From managing site-standard accommodations and behavior support strategies to collaborating with school staff and Site Coordinators, your work ensures seamless operations across school days, non-school days, and summer programming.
