About the Role

This position is designed to support individuals on their recovery journey through a combination of individual and group sessions, focusing on treatment planning and the development of effective coping strategies.
The Counselor serves as a dedicated point of contact, evaluating patient progress and collaborating closely with the treatment leadership team to ensure clients achieve their overall health outcomes. The role involves facilitating didactic educational presentations and providing therapy that addresses unique client needs, often incorporating family and natural supports into the treatment process. Success in this position requires a balance of clinical expertise, cultural competence, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
