As a Chemical Plant Operator I, you will join our team in Texarkana, TX, to help manufacture blend products used in paper mills globally. Working under the direction of a Crew Leader and Production Manager, you will perform all necessary tasks to bring these products to life. You will be responsible for operating pumps, valves, and processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient chemical production. Your day will involve preparing containers for transport, loading and unloading bulk materials from tankers, and maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant work area. You will also participate in physical inventory, safety meetings, and improvement committees, ensuring we meet RC-14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

Previous experience with industrial (large batch) mixing and mixing multiple tanks at once. Previous experience in chemical mixing. Experience working safely and efficiently in a chemical or manufacturing environment. Ability to understand systems, pumps, read meters, basic Quality Control data and to track mixing and quality information (mix logs, batch adjustments, etc.). Ability to perform basic Quality Control tests (perform pH testing, take samples). Excellent attention to detail. Basic knowledge of chemistry and chemical handling. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills.
