The Studio Guide is the first and last touchpoint for every Glowbar client, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. Energetic, outgoing, and people-focused, Studio Guides embody a client-first mentality and bring a warm, engaging presence to the studio every day. In this role, you will stand at the front desk as the face of the studio, managing check-ins and outs, appointment scheduling, and client communication with professionalism and care.
Beyond operations, you will be responsible for facility maintenance, ensuring the studio environment is clean, organized, and running smoothly. Selling memberships is a key part of the role, with financial incentives tied to performance. Success requires confidence in client conversations, the ability to meet and exceed sales goals, and a genuine passion for helping clients make Glowbar a part of their routine. This is a role for someone who thrives on energy, consistency, and connection.
Your day begins by arriving before the start of your shift to prepare the front desk. You will manage the flow of clients, handling check-ins, check-outs, and waitlist management. You'll rebook clients immediately post-service and handle any necessary appointment cancellations or adjustments. Communication is constant, as you'll manage phones, emails, and texts with care.
You'll also handle the physical environment, including laundry, towel service, and general studio cleaning and organization. You will field marketing support both inside and outside the studio and actively engage in selling memberships and packages. This is an active role where you can expect to be on your feet for extended periods while engaging with clients in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Your impact will be measured through two primary metrics:
At Glowbar, our studios are active environments. You should expect frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the entire shift. The role involves bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 15 pounds, including merchandise, laundry, and back-of-house supplies. You may need to climb stairs during shift operations and remain mobile for the full duration of your shift. The environment may expose you to varying temperatures and humidity levels, particularly in laundry or supply areas. You will also perform operational tasks such as restocking, organizing supplies, and light cleaning. To support our client demand, you will be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
