As a Hemodialysis Team Leader, you will serve as the operational anchor for our chronic hemodialysis care unit. In this capacity, you provide day-to-day direction and supervision to direct patient care staff, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of treatments that align with FMCNA's mission, vision, and core values. You act as a vital bridge between the clinical team, physicians, and facility management, interpreting and adjusting patient care plans to meet the complex needs of those living with End Stage Renal Disease.
Your day involves a dynamic blend of clinical expertise and leadership. You will assess daily patient needs, coordinate charge nurse duties, and step in as the primary responder during emergency situations. Beyond direct patient care, you are responsible for mentoring staff, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of safety and compliance with state and federal regulations. Whether leading monthly staff meetings or collaborating on quality assurance initiatives, your role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and compassionate working environment.
