The Change Management Engineer serves as a critical guardian of stability within a highly regulated federal IT environment. This role is designed to design, implement, and govern ITIL-aligned processes that control modifications to mission-critical systems. By evaluating and prioritizing change requests, conducting impact and risk assessments, and ensuring proper approval and review cycles, the engineer minimizes service disruption while maintaining strict compliance and auditability.
In this position, you will act as a central hub connecting operations, cybersecurity, development, and leadership stakeholders. Your day-to-day involves facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities, maintaining comprehensive change records and metrics, and driving the continuous improvement of change workflows and supporting ITSM tooling. You will ensure that every modification to the enterprise infrastructure is documented, risk-assessed, and executed with precision.
Candidates selected for this role must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and U.S. citizenship. The selection process will include a review of qualifications, followed by interviews focused on technical expertise in ITIL frameworks, experience with federal compliance, and the ability to manage complex change scenarios in regulated environments.
