About the Role

We are seeking a Waste Collection Roll-Off Driver to work out of our Bronx Depot (315 Casanova St, Bronx, NY 10474). Reporting to the Site Manager, you will operate under the supervision of Route Supervisors and Dispatchers. This is a full-time, Union, non-exempt, hourly position with an overnight schedule starting between 7 PM and 9 PM, Sunday evening through Friday evening. Shifts may vary from 10 to 12 hours per evening or until the route is complete, depending on business needs.

In this role, you will safely operate a Roll-Off Truck to pick up containers filled with waste or recyclable material. You will transport this material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities, potentially making multiple trips throughout the shift. You will work closely with the Route Supervisor to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices, ensuring a clean and safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards.

Hiring Process

Candidates who meet the requirements for a valid Class A or B CDL with an airbrake endorsement and a clean driving record will be considered for this overnight position.
