About the Role

The Distribution Driver Class B is a pivotal role responsible for delivering products to clients statewide. You will be the face of Southern Glazer's at bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations, ensuring a seamless delivery experience. Your day involves inspecting the general condition of your vehicle, preparing, loading, and unloading cargo, and operating the vehicle in strict accordance with safety precautions and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.

Beyond logistics, this role offers a dynamic mix of operational and customer-facing duties. You will review standing orders, develop sales opportunities, process payments, and maintain accurate records. From sorting merchandise by invoice to securing cargo compliant with safety requirements, you will ensure that every delivery is executed with precision and care. You will also be responsible for completing all required daily paperwork, including DOT logbooks and driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR), and maintaining a tidy vehicle and equipment.
