About the Role
Join the Hospitality team at California Chicken Café, where we believe that exceptional service is our most powerful marketing tool. As a Catering Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our culinary outreach, organizing and executing a wide variety of catering options that bring our flavors to events and gatherings. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about food and hospitality, eager to create memorable experiences for our guests.
Your day will be a dynamic blend of coordination, communication, and customer service. You will manage the entire lifecycle of a catering order, from taking inquiries and orders via phone or walk-up to staging, reviewing, and handing off orders to drivers. You will play a key role in coordinating deliveries using our dispatching platform and may occasionally deliver orders yourself using company or personal vehicles. Beyond the logistics, you will be the face of our brand, greeting guests with "moments of humanity" and ensuring they feel valued whether they are picking up at the counter or receiving a drive-up service.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant environment while adhering to all company policies and procedures. Strong communication regarding food quality, equipment issues, and the work environment is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly. Whether you are working full-time or part-time, you will be part of a team that values promoting from within and offers flexible schedules to accommodate your life.
