Friends of Switchpoint is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals, families, and veterans in Utah who are experiencing poverty and homelessness. Since 2014, we have been committed to empowering those in need by addressing the underlying causes of poverty, providing comprehensive plans, and supporting the journey to self-sufficiency.
Our vision is for every individual to embody their worth and value, with self-esteem, hope, and abilities restored, thriving in affordable housing. Our motto, "It Takes All of Us to end homelessness," guides our collective effort.
Our culture is built on five core values:
We adhere to guiding principles including the Golden Rule, positive influence, leadership by example, authenticity, and transparency in all our relationships.
As a Case Manager, you will provide essential supporting housing services to homeless individuals and families. Your primary mission is to formulate case plans that promote a path toward self-sufficiency. You will act as a bridge between clients and the community, helping them understand grants and other housing resources available to them. A key part of your day involves assisting clients in locating affordable housing that fits their budget and adheres to grant guidelines.
You will be the face of our mission, conducting intake assessments, counseling prospective clients, and developing comprehensive, client-driven case plans with SMART goals. Beyond direct client interaction, you will design and coordinate life skills and tenancy training programs, ensuring residents have the tools they need to succeed. You will also play a vital role in maintaining property safety and collaborating with a diverse network of local service providers to facilitate access to area resources.
We value a diverse workforce and consider qualified applicants regardless of background. Employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a background check in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Friends of Switchpoint is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
