The Fee for Service Social Worker serves as a vital member of the Behavioral Health and Preventive department, dedicated to supporting children, teens, adults, and their families. This role exists to provide comprehensive individual and group counseling, ensuring clients maximize their level of functioning through direct service. As part of the treatment team, the social worker collaborates closely with colleagues to deliver screening, assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
The position offers a dynamic day-in-the-life where clinical expertise meets community connection. You will facilitate client access to support systems and community resources, conduct home visits when necessary, and engage in consultations with Child Protective Specialists or other staff to address complex client concerns. The role requires balancing independent assignment management with regular collaboration to meet program targets and quality care expectations.
This position operates within a flexible environment that may include both field work and office settings with standard heating and cooling. To meet the diverse needs of the community, work schedules may extend to weekday evenings and Saturdays, with a limit of 14 hours weekly. The role involves occasional physical demands such as walking, sitting for extended periods, and lifting up to 20 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
