The Carpenter II serves as a skilled professional reporting to the Carpentry and Paint Supervisor. This role requires a medium to high level of expertise to perform complex carpentry tasks, including the maintenance, repair, and renovation of university buildings. The position focuses on delivering high-quality work with efficiency while ensuring a safe and workable environment for all building users.\n Success in this role demands excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. The Carpenter II must be capable of prioritizing urgent projects in a fast-paced environment, working effectively as a team player, and operating independently without constant supervision. The role also involves traveling between various campus work sites to address diverse maintenance needs.
Candidates for this position must successfully complete a motor vehicle driver's license check, drug screening, and a physical examination. A valid Driver's License is required to facilitate travel between campus work sites.
