About the Role
As a Caregiver at REM West Virginia, you will join a mission-driven team to create relationships that motivate us all every day. This role is about more than just tasks; it is about helping people grow, learn, and live well. You will develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, taking ownership and trust from your leaders to do what is right for participants.
In this position, you will support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition. You will assist with personal hygiene and provide support to individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs, including autism and similar conditions. Whether in a waiver home or a group home, you will take the initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
