With a mother recently returned to part-time work and a father who works full-time with frequent business travel, the family relies on a dedicated professional to maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Grandparents live nearby and are actively involved, creating a supportive extended network.
This is a Full-Time Career Nanny / Family Assistant position designed for a proactive individual who enjoys becoming an integral part of a family's support system. You will care for two preschool-aged children (ages 4 and 2) who attend school from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Beyond attentive, nurturing childcare and planning engaging activities, you will serve as a Family Assistant, managing children's laundry, organizing supplies, running errands, and providing light household support.
The role requires a "no task too big or too small" mindset. You will be the primary point of contact for the children's daily needs, communicating effectively with parents regarding schedules and development. The position offers a stable 40-hour work week with flexibility for occasional overtime and potential overnight coverage. For the right candidate, there is a unique opportunity to transition from a live-out to a live-in arrangement beginning in February 2027.
We are looking for a professional, dependable, and discreet candidate with significant experience in childcare and family assistance. The ideal applicant will have a background in Early Childhood Education or a degree in Education, along with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
