You will join the Adult Acute Medicine Unit, a patient-family-centered, collaborative, and dynamic environment. Here, you will assist with the delivery of patient care and the maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will care for adult patients (age 18 and older) being treated for various acute and co-morbid conditions. Our patients are unique due to the complexity of the whole patient and family dynamics in their efforts to balance a healthy state.
In this role, you will serve as a liaison for the communication and education of patient and family needs. You will facilitate efficient and safe patient care flow by following work area standards and supporting unit operations by maintaining supplies, equipment, and environmental standards. Important Note on Scheduling: Shifts rotate throughout the week. Set schedules are not available; schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. All employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.
