The Capacity Manager serves as a strategic partner within ASM Research's federal IT environment, ensuring that enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical systems possess the resources necessary to meet current and future business demands. Operating within a highly regulated sector, this role bridges the gap between technical performance data and business planning. By monitoring compute, storage, network, and application tiers, the Capacity Manager analyzes trends to produce forecasts and reports that directly inform budgeting and technology decisions.
The position is designed to proactively identify capacity risks and recommend optimization strategies. You will collaborate closely with architecture, operations, and service owners to align capacity plans with service level targets, change schedules, and release cycles. The role focuses on translating complex technical metrics into actionable recommendations regarding cost, risk, and service objectives, ensuring resilience and efficiency across the organization.
