About the Role
The Marlborough Public Schools are seeking a dedicated Business Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our team. This position is designed to promote the learning and growth of all students by providing high-quality instruction and authentic assessments. The role exists to cultivate a safe, effective, and culturally proficient learning environment where students are challenged to meet high expectations.
As a Business Teacher, you will be the architect of engaging learning experiences that enable students to acquire essential knowledge and skills. Your day will involve designing well-structured lessons and units that require higher-order thinking, while utilizing data to continuously refine instructional practices. You will partner closely with families, caregivers, and the community to support student success, ensuring that every learner, including those with disabilities and English learners, receives the differentiated instruction they need to thrive.

Application Information
Candidates must hold a valid license from the State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Business Teacher in Massachusetts (covering grades 9-12). While a Bachelor's degree or higher is required, bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred. The salary is determined in accordance with the Teachers' Salary Scale based on education and experience.
