About the Role

As a Business Operations Specialist on our Sales Operations Team, you will be the backbone of our Quote to Cash process. This role is essential to the sales activities and communications between BS&A prospects and current customers, covering new business, upsells, cross-sells, upgrades, and renewals.

You will serve as a key contributor to a high-growth environment, working directly with salespeople from the early stages of developing a sale through to contract finalization. Your day will involve drafting proposals and RFPs, managing user and customer data in internal systems, and assisting with client billing and collections. This is a cross-functional position where you will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Product, Support, and R&D teams to streamline the revenue function and ensure the accuracy of our operational data.

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and competencies that will serve as the basis for a career in both Sales Operations and Finance at a high-growth tech company. You will report to the Director of Business Operations and work from our Headquarters in Bath, MI.

check_circleSupport sales team with finalizing quotes, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, and licenses
check_circleCoordinate and drive the completion of RFI/RFPs while maintaining best practices processes
check_circleManage sales data and perform data cleaning by correcting inaccurate or missing information
check_circlePartner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management workflows

check_circleCreate, audit, and approve renewal invoices prior to sending them to the accounting system
check_circleUpdate customer records, contracts, invoices, and service specifications in Salesforce CRM
check_circleEnsure timely billing and collections by validating sales agreements for compliance
check_circleAssist sales organization in processing software, professional services, and support opportunities
check_circleReview changes to customer annual subscriptions to ensure accurate billing and manage renewals

Requirements

verifiedBachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university preferred
verified2+ years of relevant experience in SaaS or high-growth technology environment
