As a Business Development Tech Executive within the Staples Technology Solutions (STS) organization, you will drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role is designed to position Staples as the preferred technology solution for decision-makers and influencers within IT and Procurement departments of targeted Enterprise accounts.
You will operate as a relentless hunter, executing aggressive pursuit strategies across designated territories in Colorado, Utah, Washington, Idaho, and Nebraska. The position requires a consultative approach, where you will leverage deep industry knowledge to address specific business challenges facing Fortune 1000 and Global 500 clients. Success in this role involves collaborating with internal teams—including Key Account Managers, Category sales teams, and Sales Support—to secure contractual relationships and enhance customer response times.

This is a remote position with a regional focus. While the role is primarily home-based, candidates must reside within or adjacent to the supported region (Colorado, Utah, Washington, Idaho, and Nebraska). The position offers a flexible PTO policy and a supportive work-life balance.

5+ years of demonstrated successful IT strategic relationship-building and solution-selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market. Experience selling hardware solutions. Highly skilled at creating customer-facing presentations in PowerPoint and/or other various methods. Strong understanding of the IT industry with the ability to recognize, follow, and speak to industry trends.
