The Business Advisor Support Intern is a pivotal role designed to assist our Business Advisor team in serving small businesses throughout NYC. This position offers students and early-career professionals a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to business counseling, loan application support, and community engagement within a mission-driven environment.
As an intern, you will be an active participant in our outreach efforts, engaging with community partners and supporting client intake and follow-ups. A key component of this role involves providing Spanish-English translation and interpretation during client meetings and workshops, ensuring accessible communication for diverse communities. You will also support the preparation of loan application packages, maintain accurate client records in Salesforce, and help develop marketing materials on financial literacy and business planning. By shadowing Business Advisors, you will gain direct insight into counseling, small business operations, and loan processing.
