GPS Hospitality is built on a foundation of amazing people. We foster a passionate, fun, and positive work environment where our team members are welcomed and supported. Our mission is to deliver high-quality service, food, and cleanliness to our guests while developing the capabilities of our crew and management.
As a Restaurant General Manager (RGM), you will lead the operation of our restaurants, ensuring they meet GPS Hospitality standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You will not work in isolation; instead, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of managers to drive success.
This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a high-volume setting and is committed to operational excellence. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including hitting sales and profit budgets, executing accurate projections, and maintaining rigorous safety and accounting controls. A key part of your day involves working all shifts—including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends—to stay connected with the team and the guest experience.
Beyond daily operations, you will serve as a vital link to the community, developing and improving the restaurant's public relations through frequent contact with the public, local businesses, and community organizations. You will also play a crucial role in talent development, training and coaching service-obsessed crew, shift leaders, assistant managers, and manager trainees to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
Interested candidates should ensure they meet the core requirements, including 3-5 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the US. Those with a High School Diploma or GED and ServSafe certification are preferred.
