About the Role
The Route Sales Representative is a full-time position dedicated to delivering, selling, and merchandising top-quality bakery products to local stores on a designated route for Flowers Baking Company. As a key member of the team, you will drive an 18-foot box truck to a variety of local retailers, including gas stations, dollar stores, grocery stores, box stores, and schools. In this role, you will work independently to fulfill customer orders by unloading and shelving products, ensuring our brands are presented at their best.
Flowers Foods owns several well-known brands, including Dave's Killer Bread, Wonder Bread, Tastykake, and Nature's Own. This position offers the opportunity to represent these iconic products directly to customers in your community.
Day in the Life
Route Sales Representatives typically begin their day between 3:00 am and 4:00 am. The role is demanding, with an average schedule of 55-60 hours per week. You will work every Saturday, with Sundays and Wednesdays off.
