As a Branch Manager, you will serve as the operational leader responsible for the efficient functioning of the branch. Your primary mission is to drive customer satisfaction while ensuring the branch meets its projected profit goals. You will act as the bridge between corporate strategy and daily execution, defining service standards and communicating the operational mission to your team.
In this role, you will manage personnel issues, supervise department managers, and foster a culture of accountability. You will be responsible for developing strong business relationships with customers by maintaining open communication and resolving problems quickly and effectively. Your day-to-day involves reviewing financial and operational reports to take necessary actions, ensuring compliance with safety and security policies, and maximizing sales opportunities through proper workforce scheduling.
The branch environment is dynamic, featuring moderate ambient temperatures with specific zones that are either cold (Freezer) or hot (Damages area). The role requires being on your feet and walking for up to four hours at a time. While physical labor is infrequent, you may occasionally need to move merchandise or clean areas. You will also operate in an environment where industrial vehicles, such as forklifts and Hilo trucks, are actively moving material throughout the warehouse.
