As a Boilermaker, you will construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. This role is critical to ensuring the operational integrity of pressure vessels and industrial infrastructure. You will work directly with blueprints to align structures and plate sections, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools to assemble boiler frames, tanks, and vats.
Your day-to-day involves inspecting and repairing boiler fittings, such as safety valves, regulators, and automatic-control mechanisms. You will engage in the direct cleaning of boilers and furnaces, and assist in testing assembled vessels. Whether working in an on-site fabrication shop or at a client location, you will ensure proper fit and leakproof joints through welding, rigging, and precise metalworking.
