Sherwood is a civil and environmental engineering firm committed to investing in people, communities, and the environment. Founded in 2003, our mission is to engineer an environmentally and socially regenerative planet. We specialize in sustainable infrastructure, water management strategies, green building design, and systems-based solutions for landscapes.
Our team has delivered net zero energy and carbon systems, resilient coastlines, and natural resource protection for thousands of clients globally. Our award-winning portfolio includes Hudson Yards in New York, the San Francisco Better Streets Plan, the revitalization of Brooklyn Bridge Park, and the Baietan Urban Area Plan in Guangzhou, China. With over thirty award-winning projects published locally and internationally, we focus on the conservation and management of site resources—carbon, energy, water, and waste.
Are you a BIM and Revit power user ready to break the mold? Sherwood is seeking a BIM/Computational Designer to support an evolving design and documentation workflow within our landscape architecture, planning, and engineering practice. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex computational design and practical construction documentation.
As an integral part of the project team, you will collaborate across landscape architecture, urban design, structural engineering, and civil disciplines. Your day-to-day will involve supporting complex Rhino-to-Revit workflows, managing cloud-based BIM environments, and driving design coordination through the Construction Documents (CD) phase. You will translate evolving computational and geometric design systems into coordinated Revit models suitable for consultant coordination, IFC exchange, and construction documentation.
To apply, please submit your design portfolio as part of your application. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed. Portfolios should be a single PDF attachment with a maximum file size of 10 MB.
