The Child Center of NY is an accredited behavioral health program under the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (OASAS). We are dedicated to providing therapeutic services to children, teens, adults, and their families in a diverse, bilingual setting.
As a Master's Social Worker, you will serve as a vital member of the treatment team, providing individual and group counseling, screening, assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. This role is designed to support your professional growth; the clinical hours you provide will qualify toward most credentials, including LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, and LMFT. Consistent clinical supervision is provided to ensure high-quality care and career development.
You will collaborate closely with other team members to facilitate client utilization of support systems and community resources. The position embraces modern treatment modalities, with our agency approved for permanent telehealth licensure, allowing for a flexible hybrid work model.
We welcome newly and upcoming graduates to apply. Please note that while a Master's Degree in a related field is required at the time of hire, permanent licensure is not required immediately due to historical delays. A limited permit is required within 3 months of hire, with permanent licensure expected within 6–12 months for MSWs (or within a reasonable time for MHCs and MFTs).
This position is based at The Macari Family Wellness Center in Flushing, NY. The Child Center of NY offers locations throughout NYC, as well as remote and hybrid options. We are committed to finding a therapeutic role for licensed clinicians across New York State. Fee-for-service per-diem options are also available for fully licensed clinicians, while specific pathways exist for those beginning their careers.
We offer competitive salaries and reward clinicians for their performance, with incentives often ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 annually. We are proud to support bilingual professionals in Chinese, Spanish, and Bengali, ensuring our services are accessible to the communities we serve.
