As a Marketer or Service Development Representative, you will serve as a vital liaison between providers, referral sources, and the community. Your primary mission is to facilitate smooth transitions of services across different levels of clinical intensity, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for mental health patients. The ultimate goal of this role is to improve the overall quality of life for all individuals referred to the organization.
You will act as a strategic partner to the medical director, program administrator, and staff, collaborating to identify specific educational needs within the community. Your day involves developing and implementing business and marketing plans while managing an individual marketing budget to achieve facility objectives.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to community development. You will build and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, referral sources, and community resource boards. This includes conducting pre-admission screenings, gathering necessary information from referring professionals, and communicating recommendations to patients and families. You will also provide consultative and educational services throughout the month, promoting mental health prevention awareness and ensuring that facility services complement community resources.
