This role is designed to support high student achievement by providing essential instructional assistance, managing student behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of the classroom.
You will work across various funding streams, including Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, and Perkins V, each dedicated to specific educational goals such as supporting low-income students, enhancing teacher effectiveness, ensuring English language proficiency, expanding access to well-rounded education, and promoting career and technical education pathways. You will also handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records, assisting with testing, and communicating special needs or behavioral observations to the lead teacher. Success in this role requires the ability to recognize diverse physical, communicative, and emotional needs, adapting your interactions to support every student's growth.
We are committed to modeling the district's core organizational beliefs and values. As a team member, you are expected to maintain a strong commitment to the district mission, demonstrating personal leadership and actively supporting the efforts of others to achieve our shared goals. You will work in a fast-paced environment characterized by frequent interruptions, requiring you to maintain emotional control under stress while adhering to strict confidentiality and professional ethics.
